I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

T-Ledgers handled my GST filing and corporate T2 together, which saved me a lot of time coordinating between different people. They understood my business quickly and flagged some bookkeeping gaps I needed to address. Took a lot of stress off my plate and I'll be using them again.Posted on Google![]()

T-Ledgers made filing my corporate taxes straightforward from start to finish. Wajahat was responsive throughout the process and clearly explained what documents I needed to provide and why. The turnaround was reasonable and everything was handled professionally. I'll definitely be coming back next year and would recommend them to any small business owner looking for a reliable accountant.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Oakville disclosures usually involve investment income rather than unreported sales: a holding company that never filed, a U.S. brokerage account or rental condo missing from the T1135, or dividends and capital gains that were left off a return. These are often honest mistakes made by people who assumed a bank or adviser handled the reporting. A voluntary disclosure corrects them with penalties normally waived.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020; Oakville clients work with us online or at our Mississauga office.
Oakville applicants we see: professionals with corporations, retirees with foreign pensions or U.S. property, investors with foreign brokerage accounts, and families with inactive holding companies.

| Situation | How a disclosure handles it | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| U.S. brokerage accounts or Florida property | Specified foreign property over $100,000 needs a T1135; a personal-use vacation home is generally excluded, but a rental property isn’t. | CRA: T1135 foreign reporting |
| Holding company that never filed | Every resident corporation must file a T2 each year. We file the missed years with the application. | CRA Information Circular IC00-1R7 |
| Investment income missed on T1s | Unreported income is VDP-eligible if there is tax owing. | CRA: who is eligible for the VDP |
See also: CRA: changes to the VDP.
An illustrative example (not a client story). An Oakville retiree has rented out a Florida condo for six years and holds a U.S. brokerage account. U.S. tax was paid on the rent but nothing was reported in Canada. We prepare T1 adjustments with foreign tax credits, T1135s for each year, and an unprompted disclosure with payment of the remaining Canadian tax.
Oakville owners starting a new venture after cleaning up can use the free Halton Region Small Business Centre on Bronte Road.
Oakville professional corporations sometimes disclose too: personal expenses run through the clinic or practice, or dividends paid to family members that should have been reported differently. We correct the corporation and the shareholders together so both sides of each transaction match.

Not if it’s used primarily for personal purposes. If it’s rented out, it is generally specified foreign property.
Yes, if there is tax, interest or penalties owing. Missed years with no tax owing are usually filed directly instead, unless late information returns (such as a T1135 or T106) could attract penalties (ITA s.162(7)); those years can go in the disclosure.
No. Applications that only result in a refund aren’t eligible; those returns are simply filed.
It is quoted after a free review based on the years and returns involved.
No. The CRA can still audit, and if fraud or misrepresentation is found it can reassess any year.
Yes. Corporations, including professional corporations, can apply. Where the shareholders’ returns are affected too, we prepare their applications at the same time.
