I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Many Oakville clients run more than one company: an operating company that earns the income and a holding company that owns investments or a rental property. The bookkeeping risk there isn’t missing a receipt. It’s money moving between the companies and the owner without a clear record. If those balances don’t agree on both sides every month, year-end turns into guesswork and the shareholder loan becomes a tax problem.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We keep books for Oakville clients by phone, video and email, and our nearest office is in Mississauga at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204.
What we set up for Oakville clients most often: paired operating and holding company files with intercompany accounts that agree each month, shareholder loan tracking for owner-managers, rental property books inside a corporation, and clean monthly books for professionals and clinics. The Ultimate plan adds the director’s personal return.

| Town of Oakville business licences | The Town says most businesses need a Town licence. A new Business Licensing By-law takes effect on January 4, 2027, and some contractor types (including HVAC, plumbing and drain-laying) will no longer need one. We record renewals as they’re paid and note any change in your category. | Town of Oakville business licence |
| Halton Region Public Health | Food premises are inspected at least once a year, and food businesses must notify Halton Region Public Health before opening, reopening or renovating. Renovation costs are set up as capital assets when paid. | Halton food safety for business |
| Ontario land transfer tax only | No Oakville municipal tax; Ontario’s is capitalised in the closing month. | Ontario land transfer tax |
Law: Municipal Act, 2001 s.151(1) (business licensing); Land Transfer Tax Act s.2(1) (Ontario land transfer tax); Health Protection and Promotion Act s.16(1) (food premises).
An illustrative example (not a client story). An Oakville consultant has an operating company on our Ultimate plan and a holding company that owns a rental condo. Each month we reconcile both companies, record every transfer on both sides, keep the rent, condo fees and mortgage interest in the holding company, and track the shareholder loan so personal spending is repaid or paid out as salary or dividends before it becomes taxable. The director’s T1 is included, so the dividends on the T5 slips match the personal return.
For Oakville professional corporations we record gross billings rather than net deposits, and for holding companies we post every dividend and trade so the refundable tax accounts stay right. The Halton Region Small Business Centre also serves Oakville owners.
Owner-managed retailers and contractors get monthly job and store reports, and families with several companies get intercompany balances reconciled each close so the year-end is quick.

Yes. Each company has its own file and is priced separately, and we reconcile intercompany balances so both sides agree every month.
From $350 a month (Growth, quarterly), $500 (Scale, monthly) or $700 (Ultimate, including the director’s personal return), plus HST/GST, with QuickBooks Online, Dext, GST/HST filing, the T2 and T4/T5 slips included.
Only if your category changes. The new by-law takes effect on January 4, 2027; check the Town page for your business type, and we record whatever fees apply.
