T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm with offices in Etobicoke and Mississauga. We do bookkeeping, corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax, HST, payroll and incorporation for small businesses and self-employed people all over Ontario. Every job gets a flat fee before we start, and catching up years of overdue books and unfiled returns is what we’re known for.
See our flat-rate pricing or call (866) 254-5368.

Most of our Ontario clients never come to the office, and they don’t need to. We work in the cloud and talk by phone, video, text or email, so it makes no difference whether you’re in Brampton, Hamilton, Ottawa or Thunder Bay. If you’re in the GTA and would rather sit across a table, book a meeting at either office.
Prices are starting points and exclude HST/GST. You get the exact figure after a free call.
Most incorporated clients take bookkeeping plus a T2, with the owner’s T1 done alongside. Our business tax filing page explains how the pieces fit together.
We only offer incorporation to Ontario businesses. If most of your sales are in Ontario, an Ontario corporation under the Business Corporations Act is usually simpler and cheaper to keep up. The provincial filing fee is $300, and a named company needs an Ontario NUANS name search (a numbered company doesn’t). If you plan to operate in several provinces, a federal corporation ($200 government fee online) protects your name across Canada, but you’ll also have to register in each province where you do business.
Our fee is $499 plus government fees for incorporation only, or $999 plus government fees with full legal documents such as the minute book and share certificates. Minute book maintenance is $500 a year. All our prices are + HST/GST. Not sure you should incorporate yet? Read sole proprietorship vs corporation and federal vs provincial incorporation, or ask me on the call.
Law: Ontario Business Corporations Act s.4 (articles of incorporation); Corporations Information Act s.3.1 (annual return).
Lots of accountants are happy to take on a tidy file. Fewer want the one where the last T2 went in three years ago and there’s an HST notice sitting on the kitchen counter. I built T-Ledgers for both kinds of client. I’m Wajahat Ajmal, a CPA, and I review every file before anything goes to the CRA.
I review the work before anything goes to the CRA. Nothing is filed without my sign-off.
You get the price before we start. If the scope changes, we agree the new price with you first.
Tell us if a CRA deadline is close and we will put it first.
QuickBooks Online or Xero for the books and Dext for receipts. We take over your file or set one up.
Most clients never visit. If you would rather meet, book a meeting at our Mississauga office.
Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
We also match prices: send a comparable written quote from another Canadian CPA or bookkeeping firm for the same work and we will match it. A 24/7 receptionist answers the phone, so a real person picks up.

Tax rules change, so where a figure moves often I link the live government page instead of just quoting a number. Every link below was checked October 2026. If a page and this summary ever disagree, the government page wins, and we’ll confirm the current figure for your situation on the call.
Law: Excise Tax Act s.165(1) (GST imposed); Excise Tax Act s.165(2) (HST in participating provinces); Income Tax Act s.125(1) (small business deduction); Taxation Act, 2007 (Ontario income tax); Employer Health Tax Act s.2(1).
We have offices in Etobicoke and Mississauga and work remotely with clients everywhere else in Ontario. These local pages cover city-specific rules and our in-person options:
We also work with businesses in Vaughan, Markham, Burlington, Ottawa and the rest of the province. Dedicated pages for more Ontario cities are on the way.
If you’re a few years behind, you’re not unusual, and it’s fixable. This is how we work through it:
Penalties and interest keep growing until you file, so waiting rarely helps. Catch-up work starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST, with a fixed quote once we’ve seen what’s missing. See back tax filing and a real catch-up file in our case study.
If you have unfiled returns or income you never reported, the CRA’s Voluntary Disclosures Program (VDP) lets you correct it before the CRA contacts you, with relief on penalties and part of the interest. Many Ontario owners come to us only after a CRA letter arrives; coming forward first usually gets a better result.
We rebuild the missing years, prepare the corrected T1, T2 and GST/HST returns, and file them with Form RC199 so the CRA reviews everything together. Pricing depends on how many years are involved and is part of our catch-up bookkeeping quote, which starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST. The CRA decides each application case by case, so relief is never guaranteed.

Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA, Founder
I started my career in audit at KPMG, which taught me to go back to the source and reconcile everything before anything gets filed. Since then I’ve worked as an independent contractor for a tax filing company. I’ve practised in Canada since 2020 and founded T-Ledgers in 2023.
I’m a member of CPA Ontario (#77000292), also registered with CPA BC (#C77000292), and a Fellow of ACCA. You can verify my CPA Ontario membership in the public directory, or read more on our About page.
“T-Ledgers handled my GST filing and corporate T2 together, which saved me a lot of time coordinating between different people. They understood my business quickly and flagged some bookkeeping gaps I needed to address. Took a lot of stress off my plate and I’ll be using them again.”

I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. No. Your accountant needs to know Ontario and federal rules, not live down the street. We work remotely with clients across the province, and GTA clients can meet us in Etobicoke or Mississauga by appointment.
Our flat fees start at $350 a month for bookkeeping (quarterly; monthly from $500), $1,800 per year for catch-up bookkeeping, $110 for a personal return ($49 for a simple slips-only return), $800 for a corporate return, $249 for a nil T2 and $499 plus government fees for incorporation. Payroll is quoted after a short call. All prices exclude HST/GST. Our guide to what a CPA costs in Ontario has more detail.
Yes. Ontario clients pay 13% HST on top of our fees. If your business is HST-registered, you can usually claim it back as an input tax credit.
Yes. Send us a comparable written quote from another Canadian CPA or bookkeeping firm for the same scope of work and we’ll match it. Once we agree a price, that’s what you pay.
Within one business day. If something is urgent, like a CRA deadline, say so and we’ll put it first.
QuickBooks Online and Xero for the books, and Dext for receipts and bills. If you already use one of them, we take over your file. If not, we’ll set one up.
Yes. We prepare SR&ED claims end to end: the eligibility review, project write-ups, the T661 claim form and the T2 filing, plus support if the CRA reviews the claim. Pricing depends on the claim and is quoted after a free consultation.
Yes. We file Ontario or federal incorporations for Ontario businesses, set up your CRA business number, HST and payroll accounts, and get your books ready before your first sale. It’s $499 plus government fees, or $999 plus government fees with the full minute book and share certificates. HST is extra.
We don’t prepare Quebec provincial returns. Quebec runs its own tax system through Revenu Québec. If you have Quebec filings, we’ll tell you on the first call so you can plan for them.
Yes, it is our speciality. We rebuild the books from bank statements, file the overdue sales tax returns and T2s in the right order (personal T1 returns are quoted separately), and deal with any CRA letters. Catch-up work starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST.
Yes. We rebuild the missing years, prepare the corrected returns and file them with Form RC199. If no one at the CRA has contacted you about the issue, an application received on or after October 1, 2025 normally gets 100% penalty relief and 75% interest relief. The VDP application is quoted separately after a free review. Any catch-up bookkeeping starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST. The CRA decides each case, so relief is not guaranteed.
Not always. If the letter names a specific error or sets a deadline, your application is treated as prompted and normally gets up to 100% penalty relief and 25% interest relief. Once an audit or investigation has started on that issue, the VDP is closed to you, so it is worth acting quickly.
