I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Oakville personal returns often sit alongside a corporation: owners taking salary and dividends, families with investment and rental income, and retirees splitting pension income. Getting the T1 right means looking at the corporate side too.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Owner-managers | Your T4 and T5 from the company are matched to the corporate books, and we flag any shareholder loan that could become income. | Income Tax Act s.15(2) |
| Pension income splitting | Couples can split eligible pension income on their returns. We run the split both ways and use the better result. | CRA: elected split-pension amount |
| Rent and property tax credits | Property tax on your Oakville home can count toward the Ontario energy and property tax credit for eligible households. | CRA: Ontario benefits |
For Oakville owner-managers, the T1 and the corporate return are two halves of one plan. We match your salary and dividend slips to the company’s books, look at any amounts you’ve taken out during the year, and plan next year’s pay with you.
Families with investments, rental property or a cottage often need capital gains, rental income and foreign slips handled carefully. Retirees get pension splitting tested both ways and their OAS checked.
Oakville families with children in university can transfer unused tuition from a child to a parent, up to the annual limit. We check whether a transfer or a carryforward gives the better result, and coordinate the child’s return with the parents’.
Returns are due April 30 (June 15 if self-employed). Deadlines and penalties are on our personal tax page.
