I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Mississauga’s mix of import businesses near Pearson, logistics companies and families with roots abroad produces two kinds of disclosure more than any other: GST/HST that was never charged or remitted on growing sales, and income or property outside Canada that was never reported. Both can be corrected through the CRA’s Voluntary Disclosures Program, as long as it’s done before an audit starts.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020, with an office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204. We prepare the disclosure from start to finish and talk to the CRA so you don’t have to.
Typical Mississauga applicants: importers and online sellers who crossed the $30,000 GST/HST threshold without registering, families with rental property or bank accounts overseas, and corporations behind on T2s.

| Situation | How a disclosure handles it | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Sales over $30,000 with no GST/HST registration | Once taxable sales pass $30,000 over four quarters, GST/HST is owed whether or not you charged it. A disclosure includes the GST/HST periods for the last four years. | GST/HST Memorandum 16-5-1 |
| Overseas rental property or bank accounts | Foreign income must be reported, and property costing over $100,000 needs a T1135. A disclosure covers ten years for foreign items. | CRA: T1135 foreign reporting |
| Unfiled corporate returns | Each missing T2 is prepared from rebuilt books and filed with the application. | CRA Information Circular IC00-1R7 |

An illustrative example (not a client story). A Mississauga couple has owned an apartment in another country for eight years and never reported the rent or filed a T1135. We gather the foreign rental statements and tax returns, convert each year to Canadian dollars, claim the foreign tax credit, and prepare the T1 adjustments and T1135 forms for the required years with one RC199.
Many Mississauga owners have also used the free advisors at IDEA Mississauga (Mississauga Business Entrepreneur Centre) to restart a business; once the books are current, a disclosure deals with the past.

Yes. You owe the GST/HST even if you didn’t charge it, but a disclosure normally removes the penalties and 75% of the interest if it’s unprompted. Input tax credits for the same periods are claimed at the same time.
Ten years of documents are required for foreign-sourced income or assets, six for Canadian income, and four for GST/HST.
You can request a payment arrangement with the application. Approval isn’t guaranteed and is reviewed by CRA collections.
We quote it after a free review based on the years and returns involved. Catch-up bookkeeping for missing years starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST.
