I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Vaughan’s construction and distribution businesses have the CRA’s attention: the T5018 contract payment slips exist specifically to track the construction underground economy, and they make unreported subcontract income easy for the CRA to find. If your company or a subcontractor has cash income that never made the books, a voluntary disclosure before the CRA matches the slips is usually far cheaper than waiting.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We serve Vaughan clients remotely and from our Etobicoke and Mississauga offices.
Vaughan applicants we see: general contractors and trades, subcontractors paid partly in cash, distributors with unrecorded sales, and family holding companies that missed filings.

| Situation | How a disclosure handles it | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Cash subcontract income | Contractors report your payments on T5018 slips, so unreported income can be matched. A disclosure reports it before that happens. | CRA: T5018 slips |
| Missed T5018 filings | Failure to file information returns is a VDP-eligible situation; we file the missing years with the application. | CRA: who is eligible for the VDP |
| Related companies | An audit of a related company on the same issue makes a disclosure non-voluntary, so timing across a group matters. | CRA Information Circular IC00-1R7 |

An illustrative example (not a client story). A Vaughan renovation company took some customer payments in cash over three years and didn’t record them. We reconstruct the jobs from quotes, permits and supplier invoices, add the unreported sales and GST/HST, prepare amended T2s and GST/HST returns, and file an unprompted disclosure for the company and a matching one for the owner’s dividends.
If the business is restructuring afterwards, the Vaughan Business and Entrepreneurship Centre at City Hall offers free advice on licensing and permits.
Distribution companies in Concord bring different issues: sales invoiced without GST/HST to customers who weren’t really exempt, or inventory sold off the books. We calculate the GST/HST owed per period and, where a customer can still be charged, how to recover it.

| Application | Penalty relief | Interest relief |
|---|---|---|
| Unprompted (no CRA contact about the issue) | ✓100% | ✓75% |
| Prompted (after a CRA letter naming the issue) | ✓Up to 100% | ✓25% |
Rates are for applications received on or after October 1, 2025. You still pay the tax, and an audit already started on the issue closes the door.
Full catch-up detail is on our main catch-up bookkeeping page.

Yes, provided no audit has started on it. We add the income and GST/HST, file the amended returns and request relief on penalties and interest.
It can. An audit or investigation of a related taxpayer about the same information makes the application not voluntary.
You can ask the CRA for a pre-disclosure discussion on an anonymous, non-binding basis before deciding. We can make that call for you.
It is quoted after a free review. Catch-up bookkeeping for missing years starts from $1,800 per year + HST/GST.
The CRA expects reasonable estimates where records don’t exist. We rebuild what we can from bank, supplier and permit records and document the estimates.
Whether you’re three months behind or three years, the first step is the same: a free 30-minute call. We’ll look at where things stand, tell you honestly what it will take, and send a fixed price, mostly within one business day. If you have a comparable written quote, show it to us before you sign and we’ll match it.
