I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

The client portal T-Ledgers uses makes the whole process much easier than dealing with emails and PDFs back and forth. Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. In Brampton, the disclosures we prepare most often start with trucking: an owner-operator who never registered for GST/HST, a small fleet that paid drivers without remitting source deductions, or a company that stopped filing after a difficult year. Others come from families with income or property abroad. The Voluntary Disclosures Program lets you correct these voluntarily, with most penalties waived.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020; our nearest office is in Mississauga at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204, a short drive from Brampton.
Brampton applicants we see: incorporated and unincorporated truckers, small fleets, family-run restaurants and stores, and households with foreign pensions, rentals or bank accounts.

| Situation | How a disclosure handles it | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Driver pay without payroll remittances | Unremitted CPP, EI and income tax deductions can be disclosed. We work out whether drivers were employees or contractors, then calculate what should have been remitted. | CRA: who is eligible for the VDP |
| Trucking revenue with no GST/HST account | Freight services are taxable once you pass $30,000 in sales. We rebuild the GST/HST periods from dispatcher settlements. | GST/HST Memorandum 16-5-1 |
| Foreign pensions or property | Unreported foreign income needs ten years of documents and, above $100,000 of foreign property, T1135 forms. | CRA: T1135 foreign reporting |

An illustrative example (not a client story). A Brampton fleet owner paid three drivers as contractors for two years, but they drove only for him, on his schedule, in his trucks. We review the arrangement against CRA employment factors, and if they were employees we calculate the missed CPP, EI and tax deductions, prepare the T4s and include them in an unprompted disclosure before a payroll audit begins.
The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre offers free guidance on restarting or restructuring a business; we handle the CRA side, including any directors’ liability exposure for unremitted payroll.
Brampton family businesses (restaurants, convenience stores, renovation crews) are the other big group. Cash sales that never reached the bank, relatives paid without T4s, and personal spending through the company all need to be sorted before a disclosure is filed, so the application is complete the first time.
