I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Richmond Hill has an unusually high share of professional practices and technology firms. Medical, dental and physiotherapy clinics along Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie, engineering and software companies in the Beaver Creek business park near Highway 404, and restaurants and shops on Highway 7 all need books that separate what is taxable from what is exempt and show which projects or chairs actually make money.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We work with Richmond Hill clients by phone, video and email. If you’d rather meet in person, our Mississauga office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204 is available by appointment.

| Local rule or situation | How we handle it in your books | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Health care practices | Most health care services are exempt from HST, while cosmetic services and product sales may be taxable. We keep separate tax codes so ITCs are claimed only where they are allowed. | CRA P-256: qualifying health care supplies |
| York Region Public Health | Restaurants and food shops are inspected before and after opening. Equipment bought to meet the inspection is recorded as an asset, not lost in repairs. | York Region food premises operators |
| City of Richmond Hill business licences | The City licenses a short list of business types and renews them every year. If yours is on the list, the fee is posted in the month you pay it. | Richmond Hill business licences |
| Richmond Hill Small Business Enterprise Centre | The City’s free advisors help with business plans and funding programs. We set up the books once you’re ready to trade. | Richmond Hill SBEC |
Law: Excise Tax Act Sch. V, Part II (exempt health care services); Municipal Act, 2001 s.151(1) (business licensing); Health Protection and Promotion Act s.16(1) (food premises).
Professional practices are where Richmond Hill bookkeeping most often goes wrong. Associate fees, lab costs, equipment leases and a mix of OHIP, insurer and patient receipts need to be matched to deposits each month, and HST has to be tracked only on the taxable side. We set that up in QuickBooks Online and reconcile it on a fixed schedule.
For tech and engineering firms in Beaver Creek, we tag time and costs by project so the books are ready for an SR&ED claim and for progress billing. Restaurant and retail clients on Highway 7 and Yonge get POS and delivery-app payouts grossed up for commissions and matched to the bank.
An illustrative example (not a client story). A Richmond Hill dental practice on our Ultimate plan receives insurer payments, patient card payments and a small amount of taxable whitening and product sales. Each month we reconcile the merchant and bank accounts, separate exempt and taxable revenue, record lab and associate costs, pay suppliers on schedule and send a report on revenue per operatory by the 10th.
