Incorporate your Mississauga business in Ontario or federally from our office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, with a CPA reviewing the share structure for tax. Packages from $499.
Mississauga businesses incorporate for different reasons. An importer near Pearson needs a corporation to open supplier and customs accounts. An IT consultant wants the small business rate on profit he doesn’t need to live on. A family business wants to bring a second generation in through shares. And because Mississauga companies often sell across Canada or abroad, the Ontario versus federal question comes up more than most.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020, with an office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204, near Hurontario and Highway 403. You can sign your incorporation documents there by appointment, or do it all online.
Mississauga businesses we incorporate most often: import, wholesale and logistics companies, IT consultants, family-run retail and food businesses, and companies planning to operate in more than one province.
Share structure and the full process are on our main incorporation services page.

| Local rule | What changes when you incorporate | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Registered office | Must be a street address in Ontario where records are kept; our clients sometimes ask to use an office address instead, which must be a real street address in Ontario, not a PO box. | Ontario Business Corporations Act |
| City of Mississauga business licences | Only specific categories of business need a City licence; many do not. We check whether it must be reissued to the company. | Mississauga licences and permits |
| Peel Public Health | A food business that changes owner or operator, including becoming a corporation, should check its obligations with Peel Public Health and the City before trading under the new company. | Peel Public Health inspections |
Law: Municipal Act, 2001 s.151(1) (business licensing); Health Protection and Promotion Act s.16(1) (food premises).
An illustrative example (not a client story). A Mississauga wholesaler selling to retailers in Ontario and Alberta asks whether it needs a federal corporation. We explain that an Ontario corporation can sell anywhere, and only needs to register in Alberta once it carries on business there, for example with a warehouse or staff. Because the owner plans an Alberta warehouse next year, federal incorporation (with its Ontario initial return included) plus the Alberta registration (quoted separately) is the cleaner choice.
Before incorporating, many Mississauga founders use the free business plan reviews at IDEA Mississauga (Mississauga Business Entrepreneur Centre).

Government fees are passed through at cost: $300 to incorporate in Ontario or $200 online federally, as published on October 13, 2026 (see Ontario fees and Corporations Canada fees).
Ontario and federal corporations are taxed the same; we usually recommend Ontario for a business selling mainly in Ontario. A qualifying corporation pays 11.2% combined on its first $500,000 of active business income (9% federal plus 2.2% Ontario from July 1, 2026).
Law: Ontario Business Corporations Act s.4 (articles of incorporation); Ontario Business Corporations Act s.14 (registered office in Ontario); Canada Business Corporations Act s.105(3) (resident directors); Corporations Information Act s.3.1 (annual return); Income Tax Act s.85(1) (rollover of assets to a corporation).

Yes. The corporation is a new legal person, so it gets its own business number and GST/HST account. We open them with the incorporation and close or update your sole proprietor account.
Yes, by appointment at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204. Many clients sign electronically instead, and online filings are usually certified the same or next business day.
$499 for incorporation only or $999 with full legal documents, plus HST/GST and government fees ($300 for Ontario, $200 online for federal, plus $25 for a NUANS report if an Ontario company is named; a federal word name is searched inside Corporations Canada’s Online Filing Centre with no separate report).
Not necessarily. An Ontario corporation can sell across Canada and abroad. You register in another province when you carry on business there; that registration is quoted separately.
The registered office is where the corporation’s records are kept, so it’s normally your business or home address in Ontario. We discuss the options on the first call.
Online across Canada, or in person by appointment in Etobicoke and Mississauga.
