I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Burlington businesses are often established and family-run: manufacturers and distributors along the North Service Road and Harvester Road, engineering and professional firms near the 407, clinics, and restaurants and shops on Brant Street and in Aldershot. Many sell across Canada and into the US, so a single month of invoices can carry 13% HST, 5% GST, 15% HST and zero-rated exports, and the books need to keep them straight.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We work with Burlington clients by phone, video and email. If you’d rather meet in person, our Mississauga office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204 is about 30 minutes up the QEW, by appointment.

| Local rule or situation | How we handle it in your books | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| City of Burlington business licences | By-law 042-2008 licenses restaurants, personal services, vehicle repair and a few other categories. Renewal fees are recorded when paid so they are never missed at year-end. | City of Burlington business licences |
| Halton Region Public Health | Restaurants are inspected at least once a year. Costs of meeting inspection requirements are split between repairs and capital additions in the month they happen. | Halton food safety for business |
| Sales to other provinces | Tax codes in QuickBooks Online follow the delivery address, so out-of-province sales carry the right rate and the return matches the invoices. | CRA: GST/HST rates by province |
| Halton Region Small Business Centre | Free advice, workshops and Starter Company grants for Burlington owners. We set up books that fit the plan. | Halton Region Small Business Centre |

Many Burlington owners we meet have a long-serving bookkeeper who is retiring, or a family member who has done the books for years and wants to stop. We take over the file as it stands, reconcile it to the bank and the CRA accounts, and keep the same chart of accounts where it works, so the history stays comparable.
Distributors and manufacturers get inventory, landed cost and US-dollar balances closed each month. Professional and engineering firms get work in progress and receivables by client. Restaurants on Brant Street get daily sales posted, tips and delivery-app commissions handled, and cash reconciled to deposits.
An illustrative example (not a client story). A Burlington distributor on our Scale plan buys from US suppliers, sells to retailers across Canada and holds stock in a leased unit off the North Service Road. Each month we reconcile the Canadian and US accounts, post landed cost to inventory, check that each invoice carries the right provincial rate, and send aged receivables and a margin report by the 10th.
