I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Burlington employers include manufacturers and distributors along the QEW and 407, professional firms and health care practices, trades, and restaurants and shops downtown and in Aldershot. Many are established companies with steady teams, year-end bonuses and growing payrolls that approach the EHT exemption.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Growing payrolls and EHT | Once total Ontario payroll passes the exemption, Employer Health Tax applies. We track payroll across associated companies so the exemption is shared correctly. | Ontario EHT guide |
| Manufacturing and distribution | Shift premiums, overtime and vacation pay are calculated from approved timesheets on each run. | Employment Standards Act, 2000 |
| Year-end bonuses | Bonuses are taxed using the bonus method, and timing them across December and January is planned with you. | Income Tax Act s.153(1) |
| City of Burlington licences | Some Burlington businesses need a City licence; Halton Region inspects food premises. | City of Burlington business licences |

Burlington employers are often established companies with steady teams and growing payrolls. As payroll grows, two things need watching: Employer Health Tax, once total Ontario payroll passes the exemption, and the timing and tax on year-end bonuses.
We run pay in QuickBooks Online Payroll or Wagepoint, remit to the CRA on schedule, file WSIB and EHT where they apply, and plan bonus timing with you. Manufacturers and distributors get shift premiums and overtime calculated from approved timesheets.
Every Burlington employer follows the same CRA rules on source deductions, remittance deadlines, T4s and ROEs, and the same Ontario rules on paydays, overtime, vacation pay, WSIB and Employer Health Tax. This year’s rates, deadlines and the Acts behind them are on our payroll services page.
Law: Income Tax Act s.153(1); Employment Standards Act, 2000.
Payroll is quoted after consultation, as a fixed monthly fee based on your headcount, pay frequency and whether you need WSIB and EHT filing. The price only changes if your headcount, pay schedule or scope does. See what every engagement includes and plans and pricing.
