I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

Document sharing is simple, questions get answered quickly, and you can always see where things stand. It's a modern way of handling accounting and I appreciated that.Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. London bookkeeping clients split into a few clear groups. Clinics and professional corporations near the hospitals need billing-system deposits matched to the bank. Landlords with licensed student houses near Western and Fanshawe need rent and costs tracked property by property. Food processors and manufacturers in the east-end industrial parks need inventory and costing closed monthly, and the downtown tech firms need project-level books that stand up to an SR&ED claim.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We work with London clients by phone, video and email, with documents shared through a secure portal. Our office is in Mississauga if you’re ever in the GTA, and meetings there are by appointment.

| Local rule or situation | How we handle it in your books | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| City of London business licences | By-law L.-131-16 covers food premises, automotive businesses, several contractor trades and personal services. Renewals are posted when paid. | City of London business licences |
| Residential rental unit licence | London licenses rental units in smaller buildings, including many student rentals. Licence fees and required repairs are recorded as rental expenses or capital, as appropriate. | City of London licences |
| Middlesex-London Health Unit | New food premises notify the Health Unit before opening. Fit-out and equipment are recorded as assets from the start. | Middlesex-London Health Unit: starting a food business |
| Health care practices | Clinics near Victoria and University hospitals bill OHIP and patients for exempt care, but insurer and legal reports are often taxable. We code each billing type separately, so HST is charged and claimed only where it applies. | CRA P-256: qualifying health care supplies |
Law: Municipal Act, 2001 s.151(1) (business licensing); Health Protection and Promotion Act s.16(1) (food premises); Excise Tax Act s.286(1) (GST/HST records).
Clinics and professional corporations around the hospitals want books that match their billing software: OHIP and insurer receipts, patient payments, associate fees and lab costs reconciled each month, with HST tracked only where it applies.
Landlords with student rentals near Western and Fanshawe get rent by unit, licence fees, repairs and capital improvements tracked separately, often across several properties. Food processors and manufacturers get inventory and costing closed monthly, and downtown tech firms get project tracking ready for SR&ED.
If you own several rental houses near Western or Fanshawe, we set each property up as its own class in QuickBooks, so every house shows its own rent, mortgage interest, repairs and improvements. The split matters at tax time: a repair is usually expensed in the year, while a new roof or furnace is usually capital and depreciated over time.
An illustrative example (not a client story). A London landlord with four licensed student houses near Western is on our Growth plan through a holding company. Each quarter we reconcile the rent deposits by unit, record licence fees, property tax, insurance and utilities, separate repairs from improvements, reconcile the mortgage statements and send a cash-flow report per property.

Law: Income Tax Act s.230(1), (4) (records and books, six-year retention); Excise Tax Act s.286(1) (GST/HST records); Excise Tax Act s.169(4) (ITC documentation).
