I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Toronto personal returns often involve more than a T4: first-time buyers who paid the City’s land transfer tax, owners who must file the Vacant Home Tax declaration, condo landlords, gig workers and people who own Toronto property while living abroad.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We work online, with offices in Etobicoke and Mississauga by appointment.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| First-time home buyers | The federal home buyers’ amount is claimed on your T1. Toronto’s municipal land transfer tax and its first-time buyer rebate are handled at closing, not on the return. | City of Toronto MLTT |
| Vacant Home Tax declaration | Every residential owner files a yearly declaration with the City. It is separate from your T1, but we remind clients and keep the rental records that support it. | City of Toronto Vacant Home Tax |
| Non-resident condo owners | If you rent out a Toronto condo from abroad, a Section 216 return lets you pay tax on net rent instead of 25% of the gross. | CRA: electing under section 216 |
Law: Income Tax Act s.118.05 (home buyers’ amount); City of Toronto Act, 2006 s.267(1) (City taxes, including MLTT and Vacant Home Tax).
Toronto returns often bring together a T4, some investment income, a condo rental and, increasingly, gig income from apps. Condo landlords need their rent, condo fees, property tax and interest split correctly, and buyers need to know what goes on the T1 and what was settled at closing.
For people behind on filing, we pull what the CRA already has in your account, fill the gaps from your own records and file each missing year in order. Each year is priced on the same tiers, so you know the cost before we start.
Returns are due April 30 (June 15 if self-employed). Deadlines and penalties are on our personal tax page.

| Return | Price (per year, + HST/GST) | Who it suits |

| Student | ✓From $49 | One T4 plus a tuition slip |
| Regular | ✓From $110 | Most other returns |
| Self-employed | ✓From $300 | Business income on a T2125 |
| Section 216 | ✓From $350 | Non-resident landlords |
Per tax year, including overdue years. Departure and final returns, changes to filed returns, CRA letters, and extra businesses or rentals on a self-employed return are quoted after consultation. See what’s included, full pricing and plans.
Clients such as C. K. and Kushtrim came to us multiple years behind on both personal and business taxes, and we filed each missing year in order.
