I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Oakville payroll is often an owner-manager question as much as an employee one. Many clients are incorporated professionals and family companies deciding between salary and dividends, paying a spouse or adult child, and adding a few staff to a practice or office.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. Our nearest office is in Mississauga, by appointment.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Salary or dividends for the owner | Salary goes through payroll with CPP and a T4; dividends go on a T5. We model both before year-end so your corporation and your T1 work together. | Income Tax Regulations s.201 |
| Paying family members | Family members on payroll must be paid a reasonable amount for work actually done. We document roles and hours before the first pay. | Income Tax Act s.67 |
| Health and professional practices | Clinics and practices often mix employees and associates. We check each role against the CRA employee tests. | CRA guide RC4110 |
| Town of Oakville licences | Some Oakville businesses need a Town licence. The renewal is booked when paid so it is never missed. | Town of Oakville business licence |
Law: Income Tax Act s.67 (reasonableness of expenses); Income Tax Regulations s.201 (T5 information returns).
Oakville payroll often starts with the owner. An incorporated professional or family company may pay the owner a salary, a spouse for bookkeeping or reception, and a small team of staff. Each of those decisions affects the corporation’s tax, the family’s personal tax and CPP, so we look at them together before the first pay run of the year.
Once the plan is set, we run pay in QuickBooks Online Payroll or Wagepoint, remit to the CRA on schedule, file T4s and T5s, and keep the paperwork that supports family salaries. For practices and offices with associates, we document why each person is on payroll or on contract.
Every Oakville employer follows the same CRA rules on source deductions, remittance deadlines, T4s and ROEs, and the same Ontario rules on paydays, overtime, vacation pay, WSIB and Employer Health Tax. This year’s rates, deadlines and the Acts behind them are on our payroll services page.
Law: Income Tax Act s.153(1); Employment Standards Act, 2000.
Payroll is quoted after consultation, as a fixed monthly fee based on your headcount, pay frequency and whether you need WSIB and EHT filing. The price only changes if your headcount, pay schedule or scope does. See what every engagement includes and plans and pricing.
