I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Payroll in Mississauga often means shifts that don’t fit a nine-to-five. Warehouses and logistics firms around Pearson and the Airport Corporate Centre run evening and weekend shifts, restaurants near Square One pay tips and part-timers, and tech firms in Meadowvale and Sheridan Park add salaried staff and bonuses. Each of these changes what has to be calculated, withheld and reported.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. Our Mississauga office is at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204, near Hurontario and Highway 403. Most clients never need to visit, but you can meet us there by appointment.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Shift work near Pearson | Overtime, public holiday pay and premiums for evening and weekend shifts are set up as separate pay items, so each one is taxed and reported correctly. | Ontario: overtime pay |
| Employer-paid MiWay or PRESTO passes | A transit pass you pay for is generally a taxable benefit. We add it to the employee’s pay and their T4. | MiWay transit |
| Restaurant tips around Square One | Tips you control and pay through payroll are treated differently from tips customers hand directly to staff. We set up each type the right way. | CRA: tips and gratuities |
| Starting out | New Mississauga employers can get free start-up advice from the City’s business centre before their first hire. | IDEA Mississauga |
Law: Income Tax Act s.6(1)(a) (taxable benefits); Employment Standards Act, 2000 s.22 and s.24 (overtime and public holiday pay).
Most Mississauga employers who come to us already run payroll somehow: an owner doing it from a spreadsheet, a bookkeeper who left, or a payroll app nobody has reconciled to the bank. We start by checking what was remitted to the CRA against what the pay stubs say, fix any gaps, and then move the business onto QuickBooks Online Payroll or Wagepoint with year-to-date figures carried over.
For warehouses and logistics firms near the airport, the usual pressure points are irregular shifts, overtime and staff who start and leave quickly, which means a steady stream of Records of Employment. For Meadowvale and Sheridan Park tech firms, it’s salaried staff, bonuses and taxable benefits such as group insurance or transit passes. Restaurants around Square One need tips handled correctly and part-time hours tracked for vacation pay. We set each business up for the pattern it actually has.
Every Mississauga employer follows the same CRA rules on source deductions, remittance deadlines, T4s and ROEs, and the same Ontario rules on paydays, overtime, vacation pay, WSIB and Employer Health Tax. This year’s rates, deadlines and the Acts behind them are on our payroll services page.
Law: Income Tax Act s.153(1); Employment Standards Act, 2000.
Payroll is quoted after consultation, as a fixed monthly fee based on your headcount, pay frequency and whether you need WSIB and EHT filing. The price only changes if your headcount, pay schedule or scope does. See what every engagement includes and plans and pricing.
