I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Milton personal returns often come from new homeowners who moved from elsewhere in the GTA, self-employed drivers and trades, and households with a side business or a rental unit.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Moved to Milton for work or business | If you moved at least 40 km closer to a new job or business location, eligible moving costs can be deducted. | CRA: moving expenses |
| First-time home buyers | The federal home buyers’ amount is claimed on your T1 in the year you buy, if you qualify. | CRA: home buyers’ amount |
| Long-haul truck drivers | Self-employed long-haul drivers can deduct 80% of eligible meal costs. We claim it on the T2125. | CRA: long-haul truck drivers |
Law: Income Tax Act s.62 (moving expenses); Income Tax Act s.118.05 (home buyers’ amount); Income Tax Act s.67.1(1.1) (long-haul truck driver meals).
Many Milton residents moved from elsewhere in the GTA, often for a new job or to buy a first home. In the year you move, the home buyers’ amount and moving expenses can both apply, so it’s worth getting that return right.
Self-employed drivers and trades need a T2125 with vehicle and equipment costs, and HST reconciled to match. Households with a basement rental report rent and shared costs separately.
Young families in Milton’s newer neighbourhoods, from Hawthorne Village to Willmott, often qualify for the Canada child benefit, the Ontario child benefit and child care deductions. We make sure both spouses file on time so payments aren’t interrupted, and claim child care against the lower-income spouse as the rules require.
Returns are due April 30 (June 15 if self-employed). Deadlines and penalties are on our personal tax page.
