I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Milton has grown fast, and its businesses reflect it. Distribution and logistics warehouses line Derry Road and the 401 corridor, owner-operators and small trucking fleets run out of yards in the industrial parks, trades build and finish homes in the newer subdivisions, and many first-time owners are opening clinics, salons and food businesses. A lot of them are keeping books for the first time.
I’m Wajahat Ajmal, CPA, FCCA. T-Ledgers is a CPA-led accounting firm practising since 2020. We work with Milton clients by phone, video and email. If you’d rather meet in person, our Mississauga office at 100 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 204 is a short drive down the 401, by appointment.

|---|---|---|
| Town of Milton business licences | The Town licenses a short list (personal services, transient traders, food trucks, salvage yards and kennels). Licences expire at the end of February, so the renewal is booked in that month. | Town of Milton business licences |
| Halton Region Public Health | Food premises are inspected at least once a year. Equipment and repairs from an inspection are recorded in the right category when they happen. | Halton food safety for business |
| Trucking and fuel tax | For carriers that cross provincial or US borders, fuel is tracked by jurisdiction for IFTA returns, and HST on fuel is claimed as input tax credits. | Ontario: International Fuel Tax Agreement |
| Halton Region Small Business Centre | Free advice, workshops and Starter Company grants, with consultations available in Milton. We set up the books from day one. | Halton Region Small Business Centre |
Law: Municipal Act, 2001 s.151(1) (business licensing); Health Protection and Promotion Act s.16(1) (food premises); Excise Tax Act s.169(1) (input tax credits).
Many Milton clients come to us in their first or second year, when sales are about to pass $30,000 and HST registration becomes mandatory. We set up QuickBooks Online and Dext, connect the bank and card feeds and track sales month by month so you register on time rather than owing HST you never collected.
Trucking clients get revenue and costs tracked per truck, fuel cards matched to receipts and settlement statements from brokers reconciled to deposits. Trades get job costing and holdbacks; warehouse and logistics businesses get payroll and shift costs posted from the payroll reports each period.
An illustrative example (not a client story). A Milton owner-operator with two trucks on our Scale plan hauls for a broker and a direct customer in the US. Each month we reconcile the settlement statements to the bank, match fuel card transactions to receipts, track kilometres and fuel by province and state for IFTA, record US-dollar receipts, claim ITCs on fuel and repairs, and send profit per truck by the 10th.
