I highly recommend T-Ledgers. Their communication is exceptional. You won’t have to wait days for a response. Waji really takes his time to explain things in-depth with his clients. He provides the ins and outs behind every major decision. Our corporation was 2 years behind on filings and Waji and his firm got all the work done in a timely manner, as promised.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend **T Ledger's Accounting**. He has gone above and beyond for me every single time I’ve needed his help. Even when something is urgent or needs to be handled last minute, he gets it done right away and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He’s the type of accountant you can genuinely depend on. No matter what situation you’re dealing with, he takes the time to understand it, explains what needs to be done, and handles everything with a high level of professionalism. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to handle important financial and accounting matters, and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with T Ledger's Accounting. **Beyond highly recommended. If you’re looking for an accountant you can rely on, this is the place to go.**Posted on Google![]()

I fully recommend Wajahat for one's tax filing needs. He will explain what he's doing and why, rather than just asking for documents and going silent, ensuring the customer is informed at every stage of the process. He is trustworthy and transparent when it comes to pricing and quality of the work for small business tax needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Brampton GST/HST files are often owner-operators and fleets, contractors, and family retailers and restaurants. Many owners registered years ago and then fell behind on returns while the business kept growing.

| Local situation | How we handle it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Owner-operator truck drivers | Owner-operators charge HST to carriers and claim ITCs on fuel, repairs and the truck itself. We match settlements to your returns. | CRA: input tax credits |
| Contractors and renovators | Progress billings, holdbacks and subcontractor invoices are reconciled before each return so HST isn’t over- or under-reported. | CRA: input tax credits |
| City business licences | Brampton licenses some stationary businesses. Licence fees carry no HST credit, but we book them so they are never missed. | Brampton stationary business licensing |
Law: Excise Tax Act s.169(1) (input tax credits); Excise Tax Act s.168(3) and (7) (when tax is payable on progress billings and holdbacks).
Owner-operators and fleets in Brampton usually have a lot of HST on costs: fuel, repairs, tires, insurance-related services and the truck itself. Claiming those ITCs properly can turn a payment into a refund, but only with the receipts and settlement statements to back them up.
For contractors and family businesses, we reconcile sales, progress billings and supplier invoices before each return. If you’re behind, we file each period from rebuilt books and consider whether a voluntary disclosure would reduce penalties.
Brampton businesses follow the same rules as the rest of Ontario: register once taxable sales pass $30,000, charge 13% HST, claim input tax credits with proper receipts and file on your assigned schedule. Thresholds, filing deadlines and penalties are explained on our GST/HST services page.
Law: Excise Tax Act s.148(1), s.240(1); Excise Tax Act s.165.

No. We work out when you crossed $30,000, register you and file the periods you owe, considering a voluntary disclosure where it helps.
